Magaly is a 15 year old girl. She lives only with her mother and life has not been easy for her. She grew up in
an environment filled with drugs and violence due to a Stepfather who made his living as a drug dealer. In spite of her circumstances, she is always positive and focused on her education.
She says she wants to make a difference in her family through her education which is why her mother came to our
center asking for a chance for Magali.
Magali is in 7th grade and when she began our program she knew nothing of the English language. After only five months, we can see a huge difference. She is able to speak English and grasps many difficult grammar concepts.
