Francini is an active student of our Literacy program and she is just 8 years old. She has repeated the same grade in her public school twice and started in our school on March 7th of this year. Her father contacted us after hearing about our center and its effectiveness, so we offered a spot in our literacy program for his daughter. Francini’s Mother cannot read or write and her father works long hours as a taxi driver so he does not have the time to help his daughter with her studies. When she started in our Center she did not know how to read and write.
Now, just five months later, she is able to read and write short sentences.
We will continue working hard with Francini hoping to obtain great results by the end of the 2019 school year in November.
